Meet Dr. Eric Ecker

Your Compassionate Williamsport Dentist

After watching his father serve his patients throughout the Williamsport area for over 40 years, Dr. Ecker decided to take the family legacy and make it part of his own story.

Following his father’s footsteps, Dr. Ecker received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012 to help with the family business. He then went on to purchase the practice from his father in 2014 and relocated the office to be conveniently located on Four Mile Drive.

With over 750 hours of continuing education; averaging around 100 every year, Dr. Ecker is passionate
about learning any further advancements in dentistry. He recently attended a 6-month Advanced
Implant Continuum through Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and recently took part in the
PEAK program with the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry (PAGD). Topics included Pediatrics,
Oral Surgery, Geriatrics, Periodontics, Orthodontics, etc.

Dr. Ecker’s Professional Associations

Dr. Ecker is always on the lookout for different ways to continue giving his patients the level of dental care they expect. One of the ways he does this is by taking part in professional associations. Dr. Ecker is a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM) — both of which are well-known dental organizations in the industry. He earned his fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) in 2023, showcasing his commitment to patient care.

Additionally, Dr. Eric Ecker is experienced with American Sign Language (ASL) so he can offer care to those who are hearing-impaired.

Outside of the Office

Dr. Eric Ecker is happily married to his wife, Samantha. Together, they enjoy spending time and playing with their daughter, Emilia and their newest addition, Elliot.

When not in the office, or acting as the kid’s jungle gym, you can find Dr. Ecker cooking up new recipes for his family, watching films on Netflix or Hulu, or enjoying reading a book. Dr. Ecker is also an avid Pittsburgh sports fan: Steelers, Penguins, Pirates, Panthers… You name it! (You can usually find him with his Terrible Towel close by.)

Everyone here is very kind and wonderful; the rooms and open with big windows and lots to look at. I've been going here for a long time and will continue to do so!

They were able to make me feel extremely calm and comfortable when I was nervous about a procedure, and it ended up going way better than expected. Very gentle, but works fast. Yesterday was the first time I'd received dental work at this office and it was the first time I've had a completely pain-free experience. Dr. Ecker is a very skilled dentist and is quite caring & compassionate. That being said, his staff is equally caring & compassionate. I had a dental emergency at a most inopportune time, and I was blessed that Kellie managed my call(s). She was kind, empathetic, concerned and competent. She “met me” where I was in my pain, and she provided me with steps to a solution. I was thankful then, and pleasantly surprised when she checked in on me a week later! True caring on that level is hard to see sometimes. Dr. Ecker’s patients are blessed by his outstanding staff!
